September 11th, 2017. The SPIRE catalogue extracted on Spitzer prior positions on COSMOS was updated to contain the identifiers from the Le Floc'h et al. (2009) prior catalogue in the Orig_ID column.
January 6th, 2016. The files were updated to contain the Herschel ObsIDs numbers in the headers. Their content is not affected.
July 1st, 2015: Fourth HerMES Data Release (DR4). This release includes:
July 15th, 2015: Third HerMES Data Release (DR3). This release includes catalogues of SPIRE fluxes extracted at Spitzer prior positions as well as SPIRE maps from the HerMES Large Mode Survey (HELMS). It comes as complement to the already released data.
May 22nd, 2015: We corrected some problems in our catalogues:
We corrected all these problems and we apology for the inconvenience.
May 5th, 2015: There was an error in the source IAU names of SCAT250, SCAT350 SCAT500 and xID250 catalogues on L5_CDFS-SWIRE and L5_Lockman-SWIRE. The database has been updated as well as the downloadable files.
March 19th, 2014: We corrected an error on the flux columns in the SUSSEXtractor catalogues on MS0451.6-0305, MS1358+62 and ELAIS-N1-HerMES.
November 27th, 2013: Second HerMES Data Release (DR2).This release includes Herschel SPIRE maps (250, 350 and 500 µm filters) and source catalogues on 29 fields covering ~100 deg². The maps range in depth but are mostly at or below the SPIRE confusion limit and so provide a very high quality view of the sub-millimeter sky, limited primarily by the diameter of the Herschel mirror. The catalogues extracted from these maps include over 1,200,000 entries representing over 340,000 galaxies.
October 1st, 2012: The GOODS-North and Lockman-North maps we updated in September had headers incompatible with HIPE. We corrected this.
September 17th, 2012: The Herschel observation identifiers (ObsIDs) have been added to the FITS headers. If you do not need this information, there is no need to download the new files.
April 13th, 2012: Some software had problems with some of the WCS values of the GOODS-North maps available on HeDaM. They could not display them with a correct astrometry.
As these specific values are used to correct field distortion, and as the GOODS-North field is a small one, Dr Alex Conley, from the SMAP team, has rebuilt the maps with more legacy values.
If you encountered astrometry problems using HerMES GOODS-North maps, please download them again (we replaced the old maps), the new files should fix them.
April 6th, 2012: Minor update: the 'fluxerr' column of SUSSEXtractor catalogues was lacking description, unit and UCD and was presented as a string value in the VO-table and FITS files (but the content was good). This has been corrected.
April 5th, 2012: There was an error in some FITS images we released as part of HerMES first data release. In the main image maps on L3_Groth-Strip and L3_Lockman-North, the 'mask map' (4th) HDUs were missing. We corrected the problem and you can now download the complete maps.
The impacted files are:
We apology for the inconvenience.
April 4th, 2012: First HerMES Data release.
